Creating a Private Custom GPT

Sometimes you want to create a Custom GPT, but want to keep it private while you are still testing it. Within your team’s GoSearch workspace, there is an option to set your Custom GPT to private. The following will outline the steps to create a Custom GPT and setting it to private.

How to create a Private Custom GPT

1. Head to gosearch.ai and select the custom GPTs option in the left column of your dashboard.

1. Once in the Custom GPTs section, select the option to create new.

2. Here you will fill in the following data fields;
   1. An image to recognize your Custom GPT with
   2. The name of your custom GPT
   3. A short description of what your custom GPT is meant to accomplish
   4. The instructions for your custom GPT
   5. A few conversation starters
   6. The apps that the custom GPT has access to
   7. Who can use your GPT

3. With the very last option in your creation menu, be sure to select “only me” to keep access restricted to only yourself.
4. If at any point you want to update the permissions of your custom GPTs, you can do so within the Custom GPTs menu.
