As a member, connecting your Tableau personal connector will allow you to search for and use your personal Tableau data throughout your own GoSearch experience.

Setting up the connector
- From your GoSearch dashboard, navigate to My connectors in the left-hand menu.
- Scroll down to Available connectors, and find the Tableau personal connector.
- Click Connect, review the necessary permissions, and click Connect.
- Then following the instructions listed, paste your Tableau subdomain, Site ID, token name, and token secret and click Done.
- Lastly, once connected, run a test query in GoSearch to ensure that the data in the Tableau personal connector is available for you.
Access permissions
The data from the Tableau personal connector is only visible to the user that connects it. All data from the Tableau personal connector is fetched in real-time and it is never indexed, stored, or used for LLM training. Learn more about our Zero Data Retention Policy.
Tableau Workspace Connector
If your admin wishes to connect your workspace to the Tableau workspace connector, please ask them to visit the Tableau workspace connector.
