GitHub Personal Connector

How it works

As a member, connecting your GitHub personal connector will allow you to search for and use your personal GitHub data throughout your own GoSearch experience.

Setting up the connector 

  1. From your GoSearch dashboard, navigate to My connectors in the left-hand menu.
  2. Scroll down to Available connectors, and find the GitHub personal connector.
  3. Click Connect, review the necessary permissions, and click Connect.
  4. Retrieve your GitHub API key by following the listed instructions.
  5. Paste the key and click Done.
  6. Lastly, once connected, run a test query in GoSearch to ensure that the data in the GitHub personal connector is available for you.

Access permissions

The data from the GitHub personal connector is only visible to the user that connects it. All data from the GitHub personal connector is fetched in real-time and it is never indexed, stored, or used for LLM training. Learn more about our Zero Data Retention Policy.

GitHub Workspace Connector 

If your admin wishes to connect your workspace to the GitHub workspace connector, please ask them to visit the GitHub workspace connector.
