GoSearch provides verification and deprecation tools so admins can manage the quality and trustworthiness of search results across the workspace. Verifying official answers boosts their visibility during searches, while deprecating outdated resources means they are hidden from future search results, ensuring your team has access to the best and most current information.
Managing Verification and Deprecation
From your GoSearch dashboard, navigate to Verification in the left-hand menu. Here, you’ll see tabs labeled Pending Requests, Verified, and Deprecated.
- Pending Requests: Here you can see pending verification requests made by members.
- Verified: Here you can manage verified sources by seeing who verified them, when they were verified, the last time the resource was updated and undo verifications.
- Deprecated: Here you can manage deprecated sources by seeing who deprecated them, when they were deprecated, the last time the resource itself was updated, and undo deprecations.
Sensitive data detection
This feature highlights potentially sensitive data, such as passwords, personally identifiable information (PII), and financial details content. These items are flagged using automated detection systems designed to help you prevent the accidental surfacing of private or confidential data in search results.
Here, you can filter by data type, owner, or source application. Then, you can review each flagged instance in the source application and choose to:
- Deprecate the data to hide it from future searches across the workspace.
- Ignore if the content has been reviewed and deemed safe for visibility.
Taking action on flagged sensitive content helps ensure that your workspace search results are safe, compliant, and appropriate for all users.
