The GoAI chat interface allows you to modify the search parameters of your query to get the results you’re looking for. You can interact with your company’s knowledge, upload files for quick analysis, focus searches on specific connectors, switch between AI models, and even use AI agents to automate tasks—all within a single workspace.
Uploading files for one-time use
- Click the plus button to upload a file from your computer or drag and drop a file to share PDFs, images, or documents directly with GoAI.
- Once uploaded, ask GoAI to summarize, extract data, or analyze the file content.
Navigating to Past Conversations
- On the top right, you’ll see a tab that says Open history when you hover over it. It directs you to old chats, allowing you to continue them or clear your conversation history.
- These conversations are organized by newest to oldest, if you continue a previous chat, it will be brought back to being the newest chat in your chat history.
Narrowing your search on specific connectors
- Click the funnel icon to focus responses to connected data sources, connected web sources, individual resources, or uploaded files
- By clicking on one of these, you can mix and match what data you want GoAI to focus on while generating a response
Limiting to LLM-Generated Responses
- Clicking the AI only icon will filter your search results to show responses generated by the LLM using its trained knowledge without referencing any workspace or personal data
- This option helps you focus on concise, LLM-generated summaries, answer cards, or insights, rather than sifting through all available files and resources.
Limiting to AI-only responses
- Clicking the AI only icon will filter your search results to show a generative response that was created without using any data from connectors or uploaded documents.
- This option helps you focus on concise, AI-generated content based on the LLM training, providing knowledge rooted in publicly available information and general best practices.
Enabling web searches
- Clicking the Web icon will display relevant, real-time web results in addition to your organization’s internal data sources.
- Your search will surface information directly from the broader internet for more comprehensive results alongside connected company data.
Model switching
- Clicking on the model icon will allow you to switch between the general-purpose Flagship models and the analytical Reasoning models
- Because different models excel at different types of questions, such as summarization, data extraction, or coding, exploring models and choosing the appropriate one for your query can help produce more meaningful responses.
Using agents
- Your most commonly used agent will be at the top of your GoAI interface. You can also click See all agents.
- Once you click on an agent, you’ll be able to chat with it and receive responses according to the agent’s parameters.
