The GoSearch extension allows for teams to quickly access all of their tools and resources without having to leave the webpage they are currently on. With the extension installed, users are able to quickly search through their tools and resources. There are two different ways to access this extension search bar. You must have the extension installed in order to use the following features.
- Accessing the GoSearch extension from the taskbar
Once you download the GoSearch extension, you will be able to also pin it to your taskbar. With the GoSearch extension pinned, you will be able to easily click on the GoSearch logo to use the extension. When you click on the GoSearch logo, an independent search bar will appear on your screen. This search bar is the same one that you see on your GoSearch dashboard or the new tab takeover – it lets you easily search through all of your connected tools and resources.
- Accessing the GoSearch extension using the shortcut
GoSearch allows for users to have quick access to the extension search bar without having to pin the extension. Many users have several different extensions they already have pinned, leaving no room for the GoSearch one. With that in mind, there is a shortcut to quickly access the extension pop-out. Using “option + space” will open the same search bar as clicking the pinned extension logo.
