Zendesk data connector

Connecting your Zendesk data connector will allow your team to search for your Zendesk support tickets and knowledge based articles directly in GoSearch. You will need to be a GoSearch workspace admin in order to connect any of the workspace data connectors. 

How to connect your Zendesk data connector

  1. Head to gosearch.ai
  2. Select Data Connectors from the left navigation
  3. Select Workspace Connectors in the tab navigation
  4. This will take you to the data connectors dashboard.
  5. Find the Zendesk connector and click Connect
    • If you do not see it in the available list, check your connected apps to ensure it hasn’t already been connected.
  6. A pop-up window will appear outlining the steps to follow to connect.
    1. Go to Zendesk and sign into your account.
    2. Highlight and copy the subdomain of your workspace. This will look like the following
subdomain in zendesk
  1. Paste your subdomain into the data field box at the top of the GoSearch data connector pop-up.
  2. Click the Connect button after following the instructions
  3. A new window will open with the Zendesk Authentication
    • The GoSearch Zendesk Application will have read access to all data.

  1. Be sure to click the Allow button to ensure that your Zendesk data connection is completed.

Once connected, complete a test search to ensure that your connection was completed.
