Uploading a file in GoSearch allows you to quickly search, summarize, or analyze documents that aren\u2019t already connected through your workspace or personal integrations. This is perfect for one-off files, ad hoc document reviews, or when you need insights from something not included in your connected sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You\u2019re able to upload files privately or for your whole workspace. Files uploaded to Personal are only searchable by you, whereas files uploaded to Workspace are searchable by all the users in your workspace. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Uploading a Personal File<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  1. From your GoSearch dashboard, navigate to Files in the left-hand menu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Click on the Personal tab, then the Upload button, and then the Add file button. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Choose your file. \n
      \n
    1. As long as the file is under 80MB and is either a PDF, Word Doc, Excel Spreadsheet, Powerpoint, Plain Text or CSV, you should be able to click the Upload file button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. You\u2019ll see a banner that confirms your action with the words Successfully uploaded files. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Once you have a file, you can click the ellipsis button on the right of each file.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Here you can either download the file or use it in a GoAI chat. \n
        \n
      1. If it is a file that you uploaded, you can also edit it, move it to Workspace, or delete it altogether. You can view how big the file is and the date it was uploaded<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        Uploading a Workspace File<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
